College of Information Sciences and Technology
The mission of the College of Information Sciences and Technology is to educate students who can meet the challenges of the 21st-century information age; conduct leading-edge research integrating people, information, and technology; and carry out service activities that address global problems and challenges. The College awards Associate, B.S., B.A., M.S., M.P.S., and Ph.D. degrees and boasts more than $70 million in total sponsored research funding through grants and contracts. The college also has seven established research centers in the areas of Big Data Analytics and Discovery Informatics; Cyber-Security, Information Privacy, and Trust; Enterprise Architecture; Human-Computer Interaction; Intelligent Natural Gas Supply Systems; Network-Centric Cognition and Information Fusion; and Online Innovation in Learning.
The College of Information Science and Technology accepted its first Millennium Scholars in 2016.
